I really loved how spacious the rooms were! Being in such a central area, I expected a cramped spot, but this was a nice surprise. Plus, the staff was super friendly and helpful, which made our stay enjoyable. We also got to enjoy a nice breakfast every morning before heading out to explore!
The elevators were a nightmare during peak hours, especially when big groups were checking in or out. the interior design felt a bit clunky and not very user-friendly. The public bath was okay, but nothing special. it was a mixed bag for my weekend stay!

I like that I can open the windows and let the cool air in during winter, because I dont like the heater. The staff is very accommodating and the hotel is very near the train station. The rooms are also very simple yet clean and the bathroom is always upgraded. i had to check out from monterey and i stayed for one night at the portopia hotel, because monterey was full on a saturday, and it was not the same. the other hotel was not as good. so i returned the next day to monterey.

The stylish decor and the lovely garden created a warm atmosphere. The spacious room felt like an apartment, allowing us to unwind comfortably. We enjoyed relaxing in the public bath and sauna, and the nearby Meriken Park and Nankin-machi offered great family bonding experiences. The buffet breakfast was really good, with plenty of tasty options.

Appreciated terrific and quiet rooms.
All the services were excellent. Booked a room with lovely views of a zen garden on one side of the buffet room. The breakfast had a huge variety of good options, and was solid and great. The location was marvellous and gorgeous, for example, Ikuta Shrine was not too far away from the hotel.

My recent stay was a delight, the onsen's large hot and cold pools were a refreshing escape, and the breakfast buffet was simply the best I had in Japan, with a great variety of dishes to savor! My only qualm was that the room sizes, while spacious, could benefit from a few more amenities like an ice maker. I'd definitely stay here again!

I loved the spacious room and how comfy the beds were! The public bath was a highlight, but I faced a bit of a wait for the elevators at times. I'd stay here again!

I stayed for four nights, primarily to explore the vibrant city. I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious rooms, which felt more like an apartment than a hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring our stay was comfortable. The cleanliness was perfect, and the breakfast spread offered a good mix of Japanese and Western options. The location was central, allowing easy access to shops and restaurants, with a quiet atmosphere despite its proximity to nightlife.
I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The room on level 11 was a standout, featuring a wonderfully comfortable double bed that offered lovely views, enhancing my overall experience.
I did notice a slight issue with the sound insulation, as occasional noise from the adjacent room slightly disrupted my tranquility. It was minor, but it did bear mentioning in an otherwise fantastic stay.

I was really disappointed with the onsen experience. It was way too small for the crowd, and the chlorine ruined my hair. Plus, it didn't open until 5 PM, which felt so limiting! Definitely not relaxing.

So, we got hit with a surprise at the car park-thought it was 500 yen total, but it was per hour! Ended up paying way too much when there was a cheaper option right across the street. Super frustrating!
